Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Unesa FC started the East Java PSSI League 4 competition with a satisfactory performance. In the first Group N match, the Unesa squad won a landslide victory against Persem Mojokerto at the Semen Gresik Stadium, Monday afternoon, January 6 2025.
In this match, the squad coached by Coach David Agus Prianto fired a number of shots at the Persem goal. Mojokerto and produced four (4) goals without reply.
The first goal was created by Fristno Brahma Putra in the 15th minute. Then the second goal occurred through a penalty kick which was executed neatly by Riko Heru Prasetyo in the 40th minute.
Three minutes later there was also a third goal through Firstno in the 43rd minute. Three goals in the first half increased the confidence of Unesa FC players so they were able to add another goal in the second half through M. Sheva Firdaus in the 64th minute.
Unesa FC coach, David Agus Prianto appreciated their performance and hard work his foster child. However, there needs to be strengthening, especially in terms of chemistry between players, ball circulation, and the game is not yet integrated.

Unesa FC Captain, Rico Heru Prasetyo or who is familiarly called Cipeng, also feels that he is ready to face this season's matches. , because all preparations have been made for almost the last three months.
"What is clear is that our target is to first qualify from group N, step by step. Today we focus on the game ahead. "The target is to achieve victory so we can qualify from this group phase," he concluded.
