Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) collaborated with SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, Lamongan on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. This activity took place in the 8th Floor Meeting Room, UNESA Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus.
On that occasion, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd, as the Head of the UNESA Admissions Unit explained many things related to the methods and requirements for new student admissions. In addition, it is also about the accreditation of campuses and study programs, campus locations, the competition ratio of each study program, to the paths that can be taken to study at Unesa.
This explanation immediately provoked a lot of questions from the students of SMA Muhammadiyah Babat. They actively ask and ask for advice on what steps to take in order to become UNESA students. The discussion session was also colored with a myriad of presentations from the students.
“If students already have many achievements, then it can be used as initial capital when participating in the selection of new student admissions. It would be even better to be able to deposit a certificate in the field of competition in accordance with the major they will take," said Sukarmin.
Yunia Imigrianti, S.Pd, as a counseling teacher at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, hopes that this collaboration will not stop at this stage, but will have further follow-ups. Yunia said "I hope that UNESA can look at public and private schools," she said. The event went smoothly and ended with the giving of souvenirs and a group photo session.
