Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya – In order to implemented an Kampus Merdeka in Indonesia, the Ministry of Education and Culture continues to launch some innovations, such us Kedaireka program as an effort to build an ecosystem in Indonesia. Through this program, the arrangement that research developed by the campus can be used by the public community as well as a form of product acceleration and research in campus. The publication of Kedaireka program is using through socialization on zoom channel which was held on Thursday (10/12).
"Unesa is ready to support Kedaireka Program, we have lot of resources in scientific fields such as sports and arts. This is a good opportunity which needs to used together so that it can be opportunities to solve problems in community through some studies which have been promoted by Unesa so far" said Rector Unesa, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes.
In this presentation, it was explained that Kedaireka could be a solution for the industry to be able to access the catalog of campus product innovations and the campus also had the opportunity to organize matching funds by getting grant support totaling 250 billion rupiah.
With accompanying funds, laboratory research activities in which there are lecturers and students as well as collaboration with industry can conduct joint research so that more product innovations are also produced with the addition of beneficiaries.
However, there are still challenges in this collaboration, including equal access to the campus for dialogue with industry, the lack of knowledge of the results of products / services that have been developed by the campus, and it still widespread view of industry towards product development and investment experts.
On the other hand, although there are some challenges, solutions in collaboration can still be enforced, from the industry it can offer business problems or creative opportunities and from universities can provide solutions or useful designs.
"Same as the neme, the function of Kedaireka can be a meeting point between industry and tertiary institutions so that a solution and collaborative dialogue is created. Hopefully, Unesa can join through this program by sending proposals that can solve community problems and invite students to be involved in the formulation and design of innovations, "said the speaker from the Ministry of Education and Culture, M. Setiawan.
This event also followed by a question and answer session from various professors and lecturers from Unesa. Several innovation programs will also be intensified through the Kedaireka program.
