Surabaya The number of student graduates from tertiary institutions in Indonesia is always increasing. However the number of graduates is often not matched by available employment. As a result the number of unemployed graduates with a degree also experienced an increase every year. To that end Unesa cooperates with East Java Disnakertranduk and the East Java Education Office to hold a "Provision of Prospective Graduates Entering the World of Work" in the lt. 3 Unesa Campus Headquarters Thursday Friday (26/27/2015). The activities carried out for two days were divided into two sessions. On the first day the prospective graduates who got the briefing were the graduates who came from the Ketintang campus. While on the following day the briefing was specifically for graduates from the Lidah Wetan campus. Dr. Edi Purwinarto Head of the Department of Manpower Trasmigation and Population (Disnakertransduk) Prov. East Java in its material set the theme "Professional Entrepreneurship as a Job Opportunity for Young People." "I hope we will be able to compete with competence" he said giving an illustration for the participants. "There is a world of work that prioritizes administration first and then after entering training. But there are also those who prioritize competence. They carefully assess prospective employees " he added. (Rudi / Syaiful)
