Unesa .ac.id, Surabaya - The quality of teachers to date has been an important concern in this country. The existence of a teacher becomes an important element in the progress of a nation. Therefore, in improving the quality of teachers in Indonesia, today (06/03), the Institute of Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LP3M) Unesa held the orientation of PPG students in the 1st wave of 2019. Events held at the Auditorium of the LP3M Building were attended by 398 participants from all regions in Indonesia.
In reading the report, the Chairperson of the Educator Professional Development Division, Drs. Martadi, M.Sn., explained that a teacher is the key in nation building. The capacity of teachers in educating, teaching, and training must have competence as capital to support the implementation of teacher activities. Therefore, Martadi hopes that students who will participate in the orientation period can develop their competencies both in learning materials, teaching, and skills.
& ldquo; LP3M Unesa this year was re-appointed as an institution that organizes PPG activities, therefore We hope that all PPG 1 students can maximize their abilities in this orientation activity, & rdquo; said Martadi.
In addition, the Chairperson of the Institute for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. H. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd., in his speech expressed his pride in the enthusiasm of PPG students who filled the auditorium. Bachtiar explained that participants who took part in this activity were not only from Java but from Banda Aceh to Papua. With so many participants from various regions, it can be made into a diversity of fellow student participants. During the orientation period at Unesa PPG students can enjoy the facilities provided by Unesa, Bachtiar also said that in the process of developing education, PPG students are always supported by available facilities such as libraries, sports facilities and so on. "I hope that PPG students can graduate one hundred percent and be able to contribute to education in Indonesia, & rdquo; explained Bachtiar. At the end of the event Bachtiar also introduced the dean of the university environment and opened the PPG student orientation activities wave 1. (why)
