Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—The Faculty of Education (FIP) is the oldest of the many faculties at Surabaya State University (UNESA). This was conveyed by the Dean of FIP Prof. Dr. Mochamad Nursalim, M.Sc., at the UNESA Virtual Campus Expo (UVCE) on Friday, March 22 2024.
The Dean added that FIP has a vision as a faculty that is "Excellent in Education and Strong in Science". In order to achieve this vision, FIP has various missions. First, providing quality education in order to produce quality teaching and educational staff.
Second, conducting research in the fields of education and psychology. Third, carrying out community service in the fields of education and psychology. Fourth, build cooperation with institutions both at home and abroad.
Fifth, organize autonomous, accountable and transparent higher education governance for quality assurance and continuous quality improvement. "With this mission, thank God, FIP for 2 years in a row was able to maintain the overall championship and this year received 16 awards from the university," said Prof Nursalim.
Deputy Dean I of FIP, Prof. Dr. Budi Purwoko, S.Pd, M.Pd, added that FIP continues to transform as one of the leading faculties not only at UNESA, but also in Indonesia. FIP currently has 20 study programs with details, 8 undergraduate study programs (S-1), 8 master study programs (S-2), and 4 doctoral study programs (S-3).
From the largest number of study programs At UNESA, there are 8 undergraduate (S-1) study programs that have been nationally accredited, with 7 of them having superior accreditation and 4 study programs having international accreditation from FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) with "unconditional" status.
Apart from that, 4 other study programs are in the process of applying for ASIIN international accreditation (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik). Meanwhile, the master's program (S-2) has 8 study programs and the doctoral program (S-3) 4 study programs have also been nationally accredited, on average superior.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean II of FIP, Dr. Andi Kristanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., added that FIP has won the most national and international collaboration champions in Unesa for 3 years in a row, namely from study programs: PG-Paud, PGSD and MP.
< p>"By achieving the most cooperation, reaching 6,000 domestic and foreign cooperation documents, FIP supported UNESA so that it won 1st place in IKU-6. Thanks to strengthening this cooperation, FIP's internationalization program continues to develop," he said.In addition to institutional achievements, many FIP students and lecturers have achieved achievements at local, national and international levels in various fields, such as education and sports. Several lecturers have also received awards from the ministry for their contributions to the world of education.
The undergraduate (S-1) study programs at FIP UNESA are offered in various admission routes, both SNBP and UTBK-SNBT, for which registration is now open namely as follows.

- S-1 Guidance Counseling
- S-1 Educational Management li>
- Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technology
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
- Bachelor's Degree in Out-of-School Education
- S-1 PG-PAUD.
These study programs are among the favorites at UNESA, such as Psychology, PGSD, and Guidance Counseling which are always in the top 10 study programs with the most applicants every year . From the learning aspect, each study program is supported by adequate infrastructure and facilities.
Also, each study program has a bilingual class which at the end of the lecture there is an outing class abroad which is programmed, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, to Brunei Darussalam. []
