Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Commitment to improving the quality and reputation of institutions at the world level continues to be demonstrated by Surabaya State University (UNESA). The 'Home of Champions' campus together with Quacquarelli Symonds World University Ranking (QS WUR) discussed ranking strategies in the Asian region in 2024 at the 3rd UNESA QS Ranking Assistance Workshop, online, Wednesday, 22 November 2023.
The workshop, which was attended by UNESA leadership, discussed the analysis of university rankings in the Asian region in 2024 and the strategies that must be adopted. As a speaker, Veronica explained the importance of building a global community and stakeholders.
"Efforts that can be made are encouraging innovation and openness as well as the desire to collaborate internationally. It is important to ensure that the university's global involvement is understood by all stakeholders, (ed)" he said.
UNESA PTN-BH has a focus on improving its international reputation. In this case, universities are encouraged to have appropriate innovations and strategies that are in accordance with the required assessment indicators.
The next speaker, Zaeem Siddiqui emphasized several strategies that can be considered to improve international reputation. "It is important for UNESA to work hard and focus on academic reputation and corporate networks," he said.
There are several strategies to improve academic reputation at UNESA, such as increasing international cooperation, student research, holding conferences, being actively involved with stakeholders, strengthening collaboration between internal campus parties, and developing faculty and student quality.
Apart from academic reputation which is important to develop, UNESA must also be fully committed to involving company reputation and networks. Strategies that can be taken include increasing the graduate network and opening up opportunities to work with companies.
Improving UNESA's reputation requires hard work and commitment from all parties so that the strategies and innovations formulated can show a significant positive impact.< /p>
