Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The ranks of the Indonesian Embassy in Afghanistan visited the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) and were greeted by the leaders of the 'Champions Campus' in the Meeting Room, 8th Floor, Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus last week (Thursday, 12 May 2022) . On that occasion, the two parties discussed the future cooperation program.
Indonesian Ambassador to Afghanistan, H.E. Dr. Arief Rachman, M.D., stated that previously, in April last year, the Indonesian Embassy and UNESA had signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in various programs including student exchanges, lecturers, research, internships and other programs.
There were many things discussed at the meeting, among which the Indonesian Embassy hoped that UNESA would send human resources, both students and lecturers, and could seek experience there, whether for internships, study or research. "We hope that there will be a strengthening of this cooperation towards improving the quality of the Tridarma of higher education at UNESA and in Afghanistan," he said.

"At this light meeting and discussion, we also have a lot of information about innovation and transformation of learning and learning at UNESA during the pandemic. Hopefully this will be our joint reinforcement for advanced education and superior Indonesia and contribute to the global world order," he said.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Suprapto, S.Pd. , M.T welcomed the plan of the Indonesian Embassy. Regarding learning at UNESA, according to him, it does not only focus on transferring knowledge and strengthening 21st century skills, but also strengthening character according to the goals of Indonesian education. "If learning to give theory is easy, but students need a touch of education, because character is part of the perfection of education," he said
Head of LP3M Unesa, Dr. H. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri said that online learning provides a new perspective on learning. Students and lecturers have a high sensitivity to learning in the digital era. "Online learning, the identity of the teacher cannot be replaced by any media, especially in educating the character and attitudes of students.
