Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Bureaucratic transformation and reform is being intensively carried out by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) Surabaya State University (Unesa) to create clean and accountable institutional or faculty governance.
Apart from that, it is also to realize excellent service quality for both the community and the public as a whole. The commitment, hard work and success of Fisipol in realizing this was appreciated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) through the Integrity Zone Award.
The Integrity Zone Award is part of the 2024 Diktisaintek Award which is given to institutions that have achieved performance, commitment and success in building integrity zones.
In this prestigious award which was opened by the Minister of Education and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro and the ranks of the deputy ministers of education and technology, Fisipol received the bronze winner in the category of developing an integrity zone towards an area free from corruption or WBK.
The trophy achieved by Fisipol completes Unesa's achievement of 14 Anugerah Diktisaintek 2024 awards. At the same time, it makes Fisipol the first Unesa faculty to receive an integrity zone award on the national stage.
The award was received directly by the Dean of Fisipol, Wiwik Sri Utami, who was present with all the leadership at the awarding which took place at Graha Diktisaintek, Jakarta, on December 13 2024.
Vice Chancellor II for Law, Management, Finance, Resources and Business, Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, and Dean of Fisipol, Wiwik Sri Utami. Unesa Deputy Chancellor II said that this achievement was a motivation to maintain and even improve future achievements.
Dean, Wiwik Sri Utami said , this achievement is proof of Fisipol's success in implementing public service transformation and bureaucratic reform oriented towards accountability and professionalism.
This award is also in line with the tagline Fisipol, namely Adaptive Professionals, Trusted Innovative Synergy, Serving Honestly, Friendly to Vulnerable Groups and Non-Discriminatory (Certainly Progressing Creatively).
"These values are the basis for us (Fisipol) in creating a professional, adaptive and innovation-oriented work environment to meet the needs of society in an inclusive manner," he said.
With this achievement, Fisipol Unesa is determined to continue to improve the quality of service and make the integrity zone a sustainable work culture.
It is hoped that this will be an inspiration for other faculties at Unesa and universities in Indonesia to work together to create better public services.
This proud achievement is a motivation for Fisipol to improve excellent service to students, lecturers, staff, alumni, including public services.
"Fisipol is the only Unesa faculty that takes part in the ministry's assessment regarding integrity zones. Alhamdulillah and thank you for the support of the leadership and all parties. We dedicate this award to Unesa," he said.[*]
