Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Professor of the Mandarin Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Prof. Dr. Subandi, S.Pd., M.A., was a speaker at the 'Indonesia-China People to People Exchange' forum at Central China Normal University (CCNU), China on Tuesday, November 21 2023.
On that occasion , he explained about 'Fact-based China-Indonesia Cooperation Is Not Just A Breeze From Heaven'. Prof. Subandi said that there were many positive impacts resulting from Indonesia's cooperation with China, especially between UNESA and CCNU.
For the man born in Blitar, this activity, which is under the auspices of the Chinese Government, One Belt One Route, is part of strengthening relations and synergy between Indonesia and China.
"We and China have carried out a lot of collaboration, such as student exchanges, native speaker lecturer programs from China who teach at UNESA through the Confucius Institute (CI), and collaboration research for doctoral program students," he said.
He added that this collaboration is part of steps to answer the challenges and needs of students. This collaboration program provides ample opportunities for students to develop their competencies further.
"Students gain huge benefits when undertaking a student exchange program to China. All financing is borne by the Chinese government, accommodation and living costs, except personal needs "Yes," he said.
This activity, which was attended by officials from the Chinese Ministry of Education and students from various universities in China, analyzed the results of the collaboration and also provided suggestions for problems that arose.
He hopes that the existing cooperation, especially in the field of education, will continue. "They also want to know what ideas the Indonesian people have so that the cooperation carried out can achieve its goals, people-to-people, not government to government," he concluded.[]< /p>
