Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—A total of 10 Pre-Service Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students Social Work (Peksos), Surabaya State University carried out a leadership project at SMKN 7 Surakarta on Monday, April 29 2024. Previously, they had carried out Field Experience Practices (PPL 2) for 2.5 months.
The project, which is the final process of implementing PPL, has the theme "Development of Independent Learning Activity Sheets (LKBM) for Class XI Students, Department of Social Work, SMKN 7 Surakarta".
The team leader said, This project is based on limited media and learning materials for class XI students majoring in Social Work. As is known, there are not many Social Worker majors in Indonesia, in fact the number of vocational schools that have Social Worker majors in Indonesia can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
Therefore, innovation in new media or learning tools is very necessary so that students can be facilitated in their learning and able to learn independently.
One side of this LKBM is to provide learning materials and new learning media for students. On the other hand, with this LKBM, students can be facilitated to be able to learn independently.
The LKBM which has been prepared jointly by Unesa students basically contains learning material topics regarding Client Problem Assessment and contains several practice questions as a medium for testing students' understanding.
This LKBM was tested on Monday, April 29 2024 involving 15 class XI students majoring in Social Work and involving several productive Social Work Teachers at SMKN 7 Surakarta.
This worksheet was also reviewed by three productive teachers in the class, namely Anita Widayanti, S.Sos., Rapshodyan Sekar Tungga, S.Tr. Sos, and Ndurrotun Nafiah, S. Sos.
One of the reviewers, Mrs. Rapshodyan, stated that the LKBM project is basically a new innovation in the educational process and its existence is very useful for creating student learning independence.
Teachers and reviewers welcomed this LKBM. Another response from students involved in the trial development of this LKBM project was that generally they felt very happy and enjoyed being able to use LKBM as a learning medium.
In the next stage, Pre-Service PPG students will continue to improve this LKBM according to input from the reviewers involved. Their product is targeted to obtain IPR. []
