Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Everyone has considerations in choosing the type of clothing they use. Based on a survey conducted by Populix entitled "Indonesia in 2022: Looking at Fashion Trends & Economy Revival", comfort is the main consideration in the 2022 fashion trend.
Regarding this matter, Imami Arum Tri Rahayu, UNESA Fashion Education Lecturer also commented. According to him, the Covid-19 pandemic has become one of the most influential factors in the development of recent fashion trends. The policy of studying and working from home which forces most activities to be carried out at home has made day wear fashion much loved by various groups.
This type of clothing is considered looser and more comfortable on the body, and easily absorbs sweat. "Therefore, this type of clothing (day wear, red) can be used both at home and outside the home," he said.
The fashion trend is also still an option even though it is the new normal era and activities are gradually being carried out outside the home.
He added that the current world trend is more towards spring summer, which can be in the form of a mini skirt or mini skirt combined with a blazer, jacket, or jacket. Likewise, inspirational clothes made from knitted also with a similar blend.
“The colors are chromatic, bright colors like green, orange. Laces that give a feminine effect are also trending this year," she explained.
In addition, 2022 fashion will also have a lot of 'natural' themes. In addition, the trend of environmentally friendly clothing is also growing with the principle of reuse, reduce and recycle (3R). It is also related to efforts to prevent people's consumptive attitudes by mixing and matching the existing types of clothing.
"When it comes to trends, there is an Indonesian casting team, the theme for 2022 is exploration. Blending new worlds, modern mix and match with nature. For example, natural colors with digital motifs such as three-dimensional, abstract, hologram, blur," he explained. [UNESA PR]
