Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya - There is something different from the program currently being intensified by the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M. Kes. The program, which is called Ngopi Rek (Chatting with the Chancellor), is a communicative effort between all academicians who are struggling at Unesa.
In this program the chancellor will tour each faculty to provide direction for the chancellor's policy to synergize all elements of the campus for mutual progress. In addition, it also accommodates criticism and suggestions that can build Unesa going forward.
Some time ago, Coffee Rek was held at the G6 Building Auditorium, 3rd floor of the Faculty of Economics, which was attended by all faculty members, departments, and students.
On this occasion the Chancellor listened to the performance results of the Faculty of Economics which is currently in the process of becoming a reputable economics and business faculty. Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Anang Kistyanto, S.Sos, M.Sc., explained that FE is making a significant progress.
"We are preparing to become a reputable economics and business faculty in Southeast Asia in the fields of economics, pure economics and business education in 2023. The keywords for this major program are reputable, prestigious and respected in Southeast Asia and get international accreditation ASIC, AUN- QA, Abest21, QS World University Ranking and PT Ban," said Anang.
Meanwhile the Chancellor in his presentation said that with this activity the central leadership and also the faculties could work together to establish new strengths and there were no barriers so that in the future Surabaya State University would become a superior university at the national to international levels.
"Our motto is that together we can work together for unesa achievement" explained the chancellor.
At the end of his remarks, the Chancellor hoped that in the 4.0 era all members of the Faculty of Economics would dare to be creative, dare to innovate and collaborate. Therefore the cooperation that has been carried out must be further developed to several international agencies. (QQ/why)
