Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya - Sunday, 13 December 2020, the Department of Arts and Culture, The Executive Student Association of the Faculty of Language and Arts, Unesa held a virtual talkshow and performance with the theme "Give a Sense of Your Campus Features and Explore New Talents". This event is held virtual through the Zoom Meeting application.
This event presented several communities from departments in the Language and Arts Faculty. The community are The Dance Community Panji Bangun Candi, Gamelan Sawunggaling and Theater from the Sendratasik Department, Whusu and Shufa from the Chinese Language Department, Kaiwa Community, Yosakoi, Sakura Odori, and Manga from the Japanese Language Department.
Then, there is also the Badminton and Fotographer Community from the Indonesian Language and Literature Department, as well as Deutsche Gemeinscharft from the German Language Department.
FBS Carnival opens several breakout rooms according to the community the participants want to enter. The community introduces every activity that is always carried out. Along with many achievements that have been made, it is hoped that more students will be interested in registering in the community.
From Indonesian Language and Literature department, there is a Badminton and Photography community that is used as a breakout room. They introduced badminton and photography activities that have quite a lot of enthusiasts. This long-established badminton community has also won several matches.
From the Japanese department, he introduced the Yosakoi and Sakura Odori Dance Communities. They introduce Japanese dances as well as other Community activities. Kaiwa and Manga communities also hold talk shows about activities in their communities.
Then, the Wushu and Shufa Communities from the Mandarin Department invited the speakers to the talkshow. This community teaches martial arts from Mandarin. Another community, namely from the German department, presented a community that held 4 talk shows, namely music, Tanzen, Dejou, and Nuntius.
For Dejou himself, it is a journalistic community that will Analyze films by online. Then, the Sendratasik Department introduced their community by presenting videos of theater monologues and dances of the members. When the breakout room was over, they played a video of a gamelan performance that wowed the participants in the main room.
The head of the FBS Carnival committee, Nabila Shafa, expressed her hopes for this event in the future.
"Hopefully next year there will be offline events, and can collaborate with the entire community at FBS, as well as invite a better guess star so that more people are interested," said Nabila. (Pai)
