Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-In order to improve financial performance, the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) held a meeting on Monitoring and Evaluation of Absorption and Acceleration of Semester 1 Funding for RM, BOPTN and PNBP 2022 in the Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya on Monday, 13 June 2022.
The activity was led directly by the Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Suprapto, S.Pd., M.T., and was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd., , Deputy Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd., and the ranks of the deputy dean for general and finance.
"This meeting is focused on evaluating the financial performance of UNESA, especially regarding the absorption and optimization of funds," said Suprapto.
The use of the 2022 budget must be optimal and efficient and can increase from the previous year. Evaluation and monitoring are also focused on discussing the absorption and realization of RM, BOPTN, PNBP funds that have been achieved as of May 31, 2022 by the faculty as well as work units at UNESA. UNESA's budget absorption needs to be further optimized so that there is no reduction in BOPTN funds in the second phase.
"This year 2022, because we are still in semester 1 and soon semester 1 will be finished on June 30. Please always evaluate and optimize the use of our budget, also always control the money spent with the output," he explained.
He again emphasized that budget absorption needs to be considered, including optimization and efficiency of funds, which are equally important. It is hoped that in 2022 there will be better budget efficiency, the disbursement of the second phase of BOPTN funds is in accordance with their rights, and the institution's income will increase towards PTN-BH.
"Hopefully what we have planned and programmed can run smoothly. The output is at least balanced with the budget we spend so that we can achieve optimization of the use of the budget. Once again, our budget does not have to run out, but our main priority is output, so even though the budget is not exhausted, but the output is achieved, it means there is efficiency," he said.
