Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) was the venue for the release of six regional contingents of the East Java Scout Movement who took part in The 14th Malaysia National Jamboree and 8th IUMS Peace Jamboree.
The send-off was held at Graha Sawunggaling, UNESA Campus II Lidah Wetan, Surabaya, on Saturday, 7 December 2024. The jamboree itself will be held on 12-27 December 2024 at Millennium Park, Kuala Lumpur Bahru, Selangor, Malaysia.
The activity, which was attended by student scouts from all over East Java, was opened by Acting. Governor of East Java, Adhy Karyono. In his speech, he appreciated the scouts' concern for maintaining the integrity of the nation and also the welfare of society.
"This rehabilitation program for uninhabitable houses is cool. Because six houses have been implemented since November 21 at a cost of 50 million rupiah. This is extraordinary, apart from fostering a sense of humanity between members, the results will also be seen in the data us," said the East Javanese mabida.

This scouting event also gave awards to inspirational teachers, namely Ribut Santoso, an inspirational educator on social media. The award was an appreciation for his service as an honorary teacher for 19 years by covering the distance 18 km and a salary of 250,000
The release was attended by Muhammad Aditya S, Nadhif Azra Abrisam, Rachmeida Aurora Maliki, Chelsea. Sandrioriva F. R, Khanza Almirah Azzahra, and Muhammad Raja Rizher S, as representatives of 36 East Java students.
It is hoped that these six participants have introduced that scouting in East Java can go international can bring a good name to East Java and Indonesia and can make more contributions.
This event is an initiative of the East Java Scout movement with the aim of strengthening national insight and increasing the social awareness of scouts. This is demonstrated by giving symbolic of 2 house keys for kwarda program recipients, namely Supriatin and Supiatun.[*]
