Unesa strategic plan is a medium-term planning document that has a role as a guideline of preparing Unesa work plans and budgets every year. In addition, the strategic plan is intended to be a reference for developing and implementing the masterplan of the annual operational plan, and the developing faculties, departments, postgraduate study programs, institutions, as well as technical services units

The strategic plan is written based on its association with the ten-year period development plan that has been passed by the university senate. The strategic plan contains components, basic principles and strategies for developing Unesa to be a university that focuses on education and non-education that are in accordance with the interests of the nation and country.
