Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—Each document submitted for a particular interest or program has its own provisions. Likewise research proposals or community service, there are also provisions that must be considered. This was emphasized by Prof. Dr. Siti Zubaidah, M.Pd., in the 4th Series Workshop and Coaching Clinic LPPM on Tuesday, August 29 2023. In this series, the discussion focuses on proposals in the field of education.
The presenters are experienced reviewers and a team the national assessor gave several tips for submitting PKM proposals adapted to the new DRTPM policy. Some things to consider are as follows.
First, study the eligible schemes. This section is important so that you don't go on the wrong path before selection. He said there are many research schemes divided into several clusters that must be considered.
Second, prepare relevant references. The latest references can be sourced from one's own work for later citation. "Don't think that self-citation is taboo, but on the contrary, it will record our traces in research," said the professor at the State University of Malang (UM).
Third, understand the general provisions of the research program. In funding 2024, the policy is to be able to propose 2 proposals; 1 with the position of chairman and 1 as a member or can also be a member of the two proposals. If this is not considered, it has the potential to be rejected and even subject to sanctions.
Fourth, publication on the internet to increase citation. He suggested it could be entered into ResearchGate so that it would be detected by Google Scholar and Sinta could find out. If it has entered the internet radar, then the potential for reading and citation is high.
Fifth, after the system has been opened, register immediately. Because if there is BIMA trouble (the system used), then those who have registered can continue registration. Sixth, don't edit existing templates. Because last year there was a case of changing the template and it didn't pass.
Last year, he explained, there were around 60% of proposals that failed at the administrative selection stage. Therefore, the administrative stage must be properly considered to pass and will be selected in substance. "The important thing about administrative selection is that it conforms to the template, don't change it, add or subtract it," he said.
This activity was attended by the Director of LPPM, Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Turhan Yani, M.A., and his staff, related directorates and sub-directors and UNESA lecturers. [*]
