UNESA received an award from the Surabaya PKK Mobilization Team at the 2024 Surabaya City PKK Great Parents School Graduation.
Unesa. AC ID. SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) received an award from the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) and the Surabaya Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (PKK) on Tuesday, September 3 2024 at Surabaya City Hall.
Award This was achieved by UNESA for its support in implementing the Great Parents' Schools (SOTH) Program in 2024. The award certificate was handed over directly by the Chair of the Surabaya PKK Mobilization Team, Rini Indriyani, to UNESA representative Ali Imron at the same time as the SOTH program participants' graduation activities.
The lecturer in the Bachelor of Social Sciences Education Study Program said that this award shows UNESA's positive contribution to human development in the city of Surabaya, especially in supporting family education programs.
“The Great Parent School Program provides education to parents and prospective parents regarding proper child care and education at home. "This program runs with a certain curriculum and schedule, and participants who have completed the program will graduate," he said.
UNESA itself plays a role as one of the conceptors in implementing this program, providing ideas and concepts related to its implementation in various regions. Apart from that, the UNESA students involved also actively participated in the implementation of the program through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activity by being deployed to the RW level.
The lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) added that he received an award This is motivation for the entire UNESA academic community to continue to consistently support government programs, especially in the city of Surabaya.
