Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) held Socialization of the Legal Documentation and Information Network (JDIH) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the 2024 Chancellor's Regulations (Pertor) in the 9th Floor Meeting Room, Lidah Wetan Campus 2 Rectorate, on Thursday, 22 August 2024.
In this activity were also present the Chair of the University Academic Senate (SAU), Chair of the Board of Trustees (MWA), Deputy Chancellor 2 UNESA, Director of Law, Management and Bureaucratic Reform UNESA, Director of Finance and Assets UNESA, UNESA Director of Human Resources, UNESA Director of Planning and Development, and Dean of the UNESA Faculty of Environment.
Apart from JDIH socialization, there were several PERTORs discussed in this FGD, including, Pertor on Human Resources, Pertor on Facilities and Infrastructure, and Pertor on Organization and Work Procedures.

The Deputy Chancellor for Division II UNESA explained the urgency of strengthening legal aspects as a legal umbrella for institutional governance at UNESA.
Vice Chancellor II, UNESA Legal, Management, Finance, Resources and Business Sector, Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, in his speech stated that the reform of UNESA to become PTNBH requires strengthening UNESA in various ways. One of them is the legal aspect.
"The legal aspect must be the basis for running an institution, because all activities must have a clear legal or legal basis. "So today there is socialization of JDIH and FGD on the Chancellor's Regulations," he stressed.
The Faculty of Education (FIP) lecturer added that strengthening legal aspects at UNESA has an influence on the implementation of all policies at UNESA. It is hoped that this will be able to improve the quality of the policies taken and support UNESA's achievements in maintaining 1st place in the IKU PTNBH league.
The Director of Law, Management and Bureaucratic Reform, Sulaksono, in his report said that this activity discussed the highest legal aspects at UNESA. Apart from the Law, there are also MWA Regulations, SAU Regulations, and Chancellor's Regulations which form the legal umbrella.
“Thank God, the Directorate of Administrative and Bureaucratic Law has implemented the mandate of Pertor which is the umbrella for operational law at UNESA, one of them is the Pertor for new student admissions. This Pertor is very important, because it becomes our legal umbrella together. "With acceleration, it is hoped that we can provide legal aspects that are in line with our common goals," he said.
After that, JDIH socialization was carried out, which is a window for legal or legal information at UNESA. JDIH aims to provide fast and easy access for the UNESA academic community to obtain legal information issued by UNESA.
Afterwards, there was a Pertor FGD with Tasriyal, the Legal Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Culture, discussing the three most important Pertor at UNESA, namely: HR, facilities and infrastructure, as well as organization and work procedures. The three FGD regulations were discussed with the directors who oversee each field.[]
