Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—The front yard of the main gate of Surabaya State University (UNESA) Campus 2 Lidah Wetan was crowded with students and local residents ahead of breaking the fast on Friday, March 15 2024. They were seen queuing to take the iftar food and takjil prepared by the 'Rumah' campus The Champions'.
There were around 1,000 portions of food and takjil packages prepared by UNESA for the agenda of breaking the fast together and distributing free takjil attended by the leadership of the university, faculty and study program.
"This Our routine agenda is every fasting month, except during the pandemic. "This is the first agenda for fasting this time and the plan is that it will be routine every day during the month of Ramadan," said Dr. Muhamad Sholeh, S.Pd., M.Pd., activities coordinator and Director of Student and Alumni Affairs.
KOMPAK: Leaders and organizers of activities prepared a thousand food packages and takjil.
He added , this activity stems from the spirit of sharing and togetherness in ngabuburit with leaders, students and the surrounding community including road users.
"This activity is part of UNESA's way of interpreting this blessed holy month with positive values, sharing with each other. "enthusiasm, strengthening relationships and synergy to obtain blessings," he said.
The portion of food prepared consists of main or staple food accompanied by side dishes. Apart from that, there are also fresh drink packages and additional takjil containing snack packages.
SEGER: The activity committee prepared a thousand portions of drinks as part of the free takjil distribution agenda.
“Portions and the intake is very good as a menu to break the fast. We were also surprised, since 4 o'clock many people had arrived and queued. "Hopefully this will be worth worship and a blessing for all of us," hoped Muhamad Sholeh.
Nur Azizah and Javas Danadhyaksa, two lovebirds who were enjoying enjoying pecel rice and fruit ice, expressed their gratitude for this activity. “The fasting vibe is felt when there are activities like this. "Of course there are many benefits, especially for students and road users who can feel a moment of togetherness when breaking the fast," said Azizah.
Muhammad Zuhud, one of the builders around campus, felt the same thing. The middle-aged man admitted that he was grateful that there was a campus that distributed food and drinks to break the fast.
