
PPKS Task Forces throughout Indonesia attended national training organized by the UNESA PPIS Directorate.
Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–The Task Force for Preventing and Handling Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) from various universities throughout Indonesia took part in national training organized by the Directorate of Prevention and Handling of Strategic Issues (PPIS) of Surabaya State University (UNESA).
Training with The theme 'Skilled in Handling Sexual Violence Cases in Higher Education' was held for two days, Wednesday-Thursday, 23-24 October 2024 at Midtown Residence Surabaya.
Present to open the activity, Deputy Chancellor 1 for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs , and Alumni, Madlazim said that this activity was important as an effort to strengthen the prevention and handling of cases of sexual violence in higher education.

The PPKS Task Force training was opened by the Deputy Chancellor 1 for Academic, Student Affairs and UNESA Alumni.
“Around 50 Task Forces were present "This is a manifestation of our seriousness and commitment together to create a campus environment that is zero violence, safe and friendly for all," said the professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA).
Through this activity, the Inter-Task Force campuses can strengthen synergy and share experiences regarding handling and prevention carried out on their respective campuses.
"From here we can formulate effective and effective models and strategies for prevention and treatment to be implemented on each campus ," he said.

Meanwhile, Director of PPIS UNESA , Mutimmatul Faidah said, this National Task Force Training was attended by PPKS Task Forces throughout Indonesia, both from state universities, private universities, polytechnics, to academies and communities.
There are several objectives that are expected through this activity, namely The PPKS Task Force has become more skilled in carrying out its duties and functions in creating a campus environment that is zero violence.
In more detail, with this training, the PPKS Task Force has become more skilled in profiling and case control, skilled in case investigation and development, skilled in drawing up conclusions and recommendations on cases, measuring sanctions, and controlling the media.
"This training is an alternative as a channel for discussion, strengthening and strengthening shared commitment to prevent and reject violence in any form in higher education," he explained.
During the two days of activities, participants were involved in sharing sessions and discussions with a number of resource persons such as Chatarina Muliana Girsang ( Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture); AKP Rina Shanty Nainggolan, Head of PPA Satreskrim Polrestabes Surabaya;
Furthermore, also together with Mutimmatul Faidah, Director of PPIS UNESA; Iman Pasu Purba, Head of UNESA PPKS Sub-Division; and Vinda Maya Setianingrum, Director of Public Relations and Public Information at UNESA. [*]
