Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (Unesa) warmly welcomed the visit of Majalengka University (Unma) at the Rectorate Building, 8th floor, campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Tuesday, January 14 2025. Meeting This is in the context of sharing strategies for academic management and accreditation of professional teacher education or PPG.
The event was opened by Deputy Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation, Information and Communication Technology Unesa, Martadi. In his speech he emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between universities.
“This visit is an opportunity to strengthen Unesa's collaboration with Unma. "We will implement various good experiences in each university, see what can be adopted and synergized to improve the quality of education," he said.
Unma Chancellor, Indra Adi Budiman stated that this visit had been planned long ago. day with the hope of sharing and exchanging experiences of institutional governance, especially regarding the accreditation of study programs, PPG, and research, as well as community service.
"We received a lot of enlightenment, especially regarding strategies in preparing study program and PPG accreditation, which is our focus at the moment this," he explained.

He also added that the campus he leads had obtained permission to organize PPG two years ago, so it needed to prepare the accreditation process according to existing regulations.
In addition to focusing on accreditation, the discussion also discussed research and community service, which are important elements in improving the quality and quality of lecturers.
In this session, both parties shared experiences related to strategies for increasing lecturer capacity through research collaboration and international journal publications, as well as impactful community service.
Indra Adi Budiman expressed his hope that this visit would not only stop as a discussion forum, but would also be the beginning of real implementation and sustainable collaboration between the two universities.
“Like what we've done, that every time we do visit, hopefully good practices can be implemented so that the results of the discussions are not only insightful, but also have a positive impact in improving the quality of our institutions," he hoped.
This activity was attended by the leadership of Unma, as well as leaders, directors, sub-directorates of domestic cooperation, and work units related to the 'One Step Ahead' campus environment. [*]
