UNESA's Domestic Cooperation Sub-Directorate discussed the cooperation program with PT Carimax Technology Indonesia.
Unesa.ac.id. , SURABAYA—In order to increase cooperation in the business and industrial sectors, Surabaya State University (UNESA) welcomed the visit of PT Carimax Technology Indonesia in the meeting room on the 8th floor, UNESA Rectorate Building, Campus II Lidah Wetan, on Tuesday, 10 December 2024.
Beni Setiawan, Head of Sub-Directorate for Domestic Cooperation at UNESA said that this meeting was part of the commitment of the 'Home of Champions' campus to collaborate and develop partnership networks in the business world and industry.
During this meeting various collaborations were discussed, one of which was related to human resource needs at PT Carimax Technology Indonesia. They want UNESA graduates in the field of languages to become a team of Mandarin translators.
Apart from that, there is also discussion of MBKM collaboration. PT Carimax Technology Indonesia expressed interest in accommodating MBKM activities, especially internship opportunities for UNESA students who are linear with their study program.
This collaboration provides an opportunity for UNESA to improve the quality and relevance of UNESA higher education graduates, because PT Carimax Technology Indonesia has access to several companies in China.
One of the things discussed at this meeting was related to the human resource needs for UNESA graduates, especially in the field of languages for a career at PT Carimax Technology Indonesia.
“This collaboration is important for graduates UNESA. "The hope is that this input can prepare UNESA graduates who are truly ready to face real conditions in the world of business and industry," said Beni.
One of the alumni from UNESA who previously studied in the psychology study program, Alvira Diamond Triccia as HRD of PT Carimax Technology Indonesia said that UNESA was the goal for this collaboration.
The reason is, UNESA has a language study program whose competence is needed, and there are also several alumni of the 'Growing with Character' campus. who has a career in the company. "If you look at its performance, UNESA has potential," he said.
He added that it would be easier to get job opportunities for fresh graduates or alumni who are ready to work. , because it already has a network.
This is not the first time PT Carimax Technology Indonesia has collaborated with UNESA. So, previously we had collaborated with the UNESA Career Center regarding career opportunities.
