On that occasion, the two parties discussed continuing cooperation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dr. Martadi, M.Sn., Deputy Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation and Information and Communication Technology, and Dr. Ir. H. Ruksamin, ST., M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN.Eng as Regent of North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi.
"Regional governments really need to collaborate with educational institutions to solve increasingly complex problems. "There needs to be appropriate steps taken by both UNESA and the North Konawe Regency Government," said Martadi, Deputy Chancellor IV UNESA.

Meanwhile , the Regent of North Konawe expressed his commitment to improving the quality of human resources in order to prepare for Golden Indonesia 2045. One of the things he has done is collaborating with universities and waiving single tuition fees (UKT) for students from North Konawe who are spread across universities both at home and abroad.< /p>
"Our country cannot progress if it is not balanced with adequate resources, therefore education is very important in shared prosperity," said the Regent of North Konawe.
Human Resource Development in Konawe Regency The North will become more advanced with the educational access facilities provided, and UNESA is ready to work together in making this happen.
North Konawe Regency is focusing on human resource development. This is proven by as many as 2,220 North Konawe Regency children spread across 121 campuses in Indonesia, including 10 medical students in China whose education fees are all waived.
