Collaboration between UNESA and the Tanjung Perak Prosecutor's Office to hold an FGD on the role of the prosecutor's office in the history of the Indonesian nation.

SURABAYA—In commemoration of the 64th Adhyaksa Bhakti Day, the Tanjung Perak District Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) together with the Surabaya State University (UNESA) held a Focus Group Discussion with the theme "The Role of the Prosecutor's Office in the Struggle to Realize Independence, Defend Independence, and Realize State Goals."
The activity which took place on Wednesday, July 17 2024 at the Auditorium on the 11th Floor of the Rectorate Building presented two resource persons who were experts in their fields.
The first resource person, Drs. Sumarno, M.Hum., as a lecturer in the History Education study program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) UNESA. The second resource person was Ricky Setiawan Anas, S.H., M.H., Head of the Tanjung Perak District Prosecutor's Office.

On session First, Sumarno opened the discussion by presenting material regarding the history of prosecutors in Indonesia. In his presentation, he explained that since the Majapahit era, the kingdom has had a court system with a Supreme Judge known as Adhyaksa.
"This shows that the concept of law and justice has long existed in our civilization," he said.< /p>
Ricky Setiawan Anas provides inspiration through his experience in the world of law. Ricky explained the various challenges and achievements he faced during his career, providing valuable insight for the participants.
The Head of the Tanjung Perak Prosecutor's Office provided a number of strengthening insights regarding the important role of the prosecutor's office to the activity participants consisting of prosecutor's staff and students.
"Become "being part of the prosecutor's office is an honor and a big responsibility. This experience taught me to always uphold justice and integrity," he said.
In addition to presenting material, this event was also equipped with a focus group discussion or question session. response involving UNESA students and employees of the Tanjung Perak District Prosecutor's Office. The participants showed high enthusiasm in discussing and asking critical questions.
This activity is expected to provide more insight into the role of the prosecutor's office in the history of Indonesia's struggle for independence and motivate students and prosecutor's staff to continue to contribute to realizing the country's goals. []
