“Focus "The main aim of this program is to provide appropriate intervention for teachers to be able to resolve various student relational problems, such as difficulties in interacting with peers, conflicts with teachers, and communication problems in the school environment," explained Muhamad Afifuddin.
Reality Therapy, is an approach developed by William Glasser that emphasizes individual responsibility for their own choices and how they can control their behavior to achieve basic needs such as love, power, freedom and pleasure.
Through this method , students are invited to be aware of their choices, understand the consequences of their actions, and decide how best to improve their relationships with others.
This approach is very relevant in educational contexts, especially in schools that wants to improve students' psychological well-being. According to him, many students experience relational problems due to a lack of awareness of their own choices in behavior.
"Through this program, we hope to have a sustainable positive impact on students at the Wittaya Islamic Sangkhom School," said Muhamad Afifuddin.
This training received a positive response from school leaders. They stated that this approach had helped create a more harmonious and conducive learning environment.
It is hoped that this community service activity can become a model. for similar programs in the future, both in Thailand and in other countries, UNESA is committed to continuing to contribute to the development of more inclusive education and supporting student mental health, as well as establishing close collaboration with various educational institutions at the international level.
