Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—After Eid , the body which initially shrinks slightly due to fasting slowly expands again as portions or hours of eating increase. In order to maintain an ideal body and maintain fitness, you must continue to exercise.
Dr. Kunjung Ashadi, S.Pd., M.Fis., AIFO, Coordinator of the D-4 Sports Coaching Study Program, Vocational Faculty, Surabaya State University (UNESA) emphasized that there are no more reasons not to exercise.
Various Health problems that occur in many people are caused by lack of physical activity and rarely exercising. "Exercise is a cheap, healthy way," he said.
He added that exercise can be a habit every morning or every weekend, you can go for a walk in the park near your house or jog on the nearest jogging track. You can also go around the complex with your family every morning while breathing in the fresh air.
Apart from that, you can also exercise at home, such as doing tabata exercises, aerobics or yoga movements. Apart from that, you can also do push ups, pull ups, planks, sit ups, squats, jumping jacks, jumping rope, etc.
Exercising at home will be very helpful if there is equipment such as barbells or a treadmill . For those who don't have one, it's not a problem, because household equipment can also be a simple tool for exercising.
For example, for lifting weights or as a barbell, you can use a gallon filled with water. Use a gallon that has a handle or you can buy an additional handle. You can use a large or medium gallon according to your needs.
To do pull-ups you can also use the ventilation above the door of the house or other parts of the house that can be used to lift the body.
Apart from the type sports that require these tools, you can also do practical sports without the help of tools such as planks, push-ups, jumping jacks, etc.
"Try when you wake up in the morning to do stretches, then push ups or sit up and so on. Routine it every day or set a certain number of times a week," said Kunjung.[]
