Pre-service Training for UNESA Non-PNS Permanent Lecturers 2024
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) lecturers must be able to work quickly, collaborate and be adaptive in carrying out their duties in the future. The three main messages were conveyed by the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M. when opening the Pre-Service Training for the first batch of Permanent Non-PNS (DTN) Lecturers at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) at the Kusuma Agrowisata Hotel, Batu, on Monday (15/7/2024).
Witnessed UNESA leadership and participant, Cak Hasan, as he is familiarly known, emphasized that these three attitudes must guide lecturers in working and serving on the 'Home of Champions' campus. He saw that the world order continues to change due to technological developments so everyone must be prepared.
"In the next five years the needs for graduates will change, so I ask you to pay close attention to the curriculum and learning methods so that we can create graduates and create superior students "In accordance with the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045," he explained.
The Chancellor asked the DTNs to be proud, because they are at a time when UNESA is growing as a PTN-BH. Cak Hasan talked about UNESA's position which continues to achieve proud achievements so that it can be trusted to organize various world-class events.
“Lastly yesterday was extraordinary. UNESA successfully held two international events, namely the 2024 Asean University Games and the Indonesia-France Joint Working Group. "Not to mention, next October we will also be the host for the XI Indonesian National Education Conference (Konaspi) which will be attended by delegates from 13 LPTKs," he explained, greeted by applause from the participants.
With UNESA's achievements continuing to accelerate, the Chancellor wants the This new lecturer also participated and contributed. He invited them to continue to demonstrate achievements for the institution while ensuring that their employment status as DTN would have the same rights and obligations as ASN.
“Now there are many important roles at UNESA held by DTN. So don't worry. There is always a chance as long as you show your best performance. "So compete to produce achievements and innovations that support UNESA's progress," he said.
Meanwhile M. Sulton Arifin, Director of Human Resources as head of the organizer said that this Pre-Service Training is a manifestation of efforts to develop the competency of UNESA apparatus resources. . According to him, the implementation of tasks on the 'One Ledge Ahead' campus can take place effectively and efficiently if the apparatus resources have the required competencies.
"Competency is indicated by the ability to technically master the field of work, the ability to place code of ethics required by the field of work and abilities that demonstrate commitment in carrying out the duties of the position. "So that's what you will learn in this training," he explained.
Sulton hopes that the participants can truly appreciate the entire series of Pre-Service Training. It is hoped that after participating in this activity, improvements and innovations in the higher education tridharma service system can be further improved.
"Hopefully you can make more contributions in creating quality services to realize the higher education tri dharma," he hoped.
In this activity, 122 new UNESA DTN lecturer participants received various materials about various university programs as well as strengthening their capacity as teachers. This activity was attended by all levels of UNESA leadership.[]
