
UNESA Deputy Chancellor for Sector 1 provided reinforcement at the opening of LKMM-TL 2024.
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA–A total of 40 student representatives from various universities in Indonesia took part in the Advanced Student Management Skills Training (LKMM-TL) which took place at the 11th floor Auditorium, Rectorate, Surabaya State University (UNESA) Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Thursday, 17 October 2024 .
LKMM-TL, which lasts for three days, until Sunday, October 20 2024, is a program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) which aims to provide theoretical and practical provisions in the field of management to students who was selected.
UNESA Deputy Chancellor 1 for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs, Madlazim said that this activity was an opportunity for students to improve their competence in the fields of management and leadership.
"There are not many students who got this great opportunity. "Therefore, take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen integrity, creativity and collaboration so that there will be increased abilities in the field of management as an important preparation to become a leader in any field in the future," he said.
The professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) advised all training participants to take advantage of opportunities like this training to develop themselves and broaden their experience.
"Make this a means of learning and improving yourself . When there is an opportunity to become a leader someday, you will be ready and have the provisions to make something meaningful for society. "I hope that great leaders in the future, one of whom will be born from today's training," he said.
Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture, Sri Suning Kusumawardani, this training is specifically designed for students to build further competencies and be prepared as cadres a nation that is adaptive, creative and innovative in contributing to society, nation and state.

The participants in this training are the result selection carried out directly by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education Research and Technology. A total of 40 participants from various regions in Indonesia took part in the training.
UNESA Director of Student and Alumni Affairs, Muhammad Sholeh stated that this was the first time UNESA had hosted this training event. He advised students to improve their soft skills, including through this training.
“Now is the era of disruption, where soft skills are important to master. "If we look at the competencies needed this century, at least we can improve the 4C abilities, namely Critical thinking (critical thinking), Creativity (creativity), Communication (communicating), Collaboration (working together)," he explained.
At In this training, student participants received material regarding national, economic, social and cultural insight, as well as insight into national resilience, which was delivered directly by a number of presenters.[*]
