Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA— Surabaya State University (UNESA) successfully held the 2024 Independent Entrepreneurship program, known as the UNESA Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (Bonek). This activity closed with an outbound which took place at the Independent Learning Laboratory (Labmer), Campus II UNESA, on Wednesday, 18 December 2024.
This activity was attended by hundreds of 'UNESA Bonek' participants who had previously carried out a series of entrepreneurial activities. This outbound aims to strengthen teamwork, build strong relationships, and instill a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit.
Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Exchange and Academic Mobility (PMMA) UNESA, M. Jacky conveyed the importance of continued support for products students from the 'UNESA Bonek' program.
“There are many culinary products from this program. "We hope that UNESA, through the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor 1, can provide a place or other mechanism to support these products so that they continue," he explained.

Hopefully, 'UNESA BONEK' students become a successful entrepreneur or businessman in the future.
Afifan Yulfadinata, PIC Entrepreneur Merdeka UNESA emphasized that the end of this program is not the end of UNESA's journey in supporting student entrepreneurship.
"If UNESA is again trusted as the Implementing Higher Education Institution (PTP) by the Ministry, we are ready to organize this program even better. "Hopefully the enthusiasm of UNESA students or from outside UNESA will increase," he said.
He also hopes that this program will become a real provision for students to become entrepreneurs. "After this program is completed, we want to ensure that students are able to run their businesses without being confused about work, because they already have sufficient provisions," he added.
The 'UNESA Bonek' program not only provides entrepreneurship training, but It also becomes a forum for students from various regions to learn from each other and share experiences. One of the participants, Muhammad Raihan from Lambung Mangkurat University, South Kalimantan, shared his impressions and messages while taking part in the program.

“My impression is very interesting, because I come from a psychology study program that is not related to business. Apart from that, I am also from Kalimantan, so there are challenges of cultural and language differences. "But it is actually a valuable experience because there are participants here from various campuses and regions, so this difference is a plus," he said.
In this program, Raihan admitted that he gained many things, especially entrepreneurial knowledge, such as management. finance and business in the F&B sector are the focus of the business.
“We are guided by experienced mentors, so we know how to build a good business. Apart from that, I also made lots of new friends, learned about new cultures, and expanded my relationships," he said.
Apart from outbound activities, this activity also included giving awards to students who were active during the program period. This award is given as a form of appreciation for the dedication, creativity and enthusiasm of students in carrying out the 'UNESA Bonek' program.[*]
