Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) held a Technopreneur Incubator Workshop (Iku-Tech) on Friday, 7 June 2024 at Auditorium G.6 FEB, UNESA Campus 2 Ketintang.
With the theme "Global Experiential Learning: A Transformation Towards Unesa'S Entrepreneur University", this activity was carried out in order to realize the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) grant to improve the quality and competitiveness of study programs on the international stage.
Activities aimed at equipping students In understanding this technology-laden business incubator, two accounting experts from the University of Indonesia (UI) attended.
Both are Dr. Rambat Lupiyoadi, S.E., M.E., who explained best practices incubators and Helman Arif, S.E., M.M., who explained about the formation and development of technopreneurship incubists.
In his delivery, Dr. Rambat Lupiyoadi, S.E., M.E., explained that the main principle of innovation management is to only develop products and business models that have been tested. Meanwhile, for new ideas, the task of management or entrepreneurs is to invest in testing the business model.
From this investment, added the Commissioner of PT. Gaido Group, innovators will look for creative products and learn by trying to collect data, including through testing on customers. So that this data will be used by management to make decisions.
Meanwhile, the next material from Helman Arif, S.E., M.M., states that a business incubator is a forum that provides facilities and business development. Both management and technology for small and medium businesses to improve and develop their business activities.

“Simply put "A business incubator is a service for starting and developing a business," he said.
In its implementation, a business incubator must go through at least three important stages. The first stage is the pre-incubation stage in which incubation participants or talents are selected and a written contract is established with the participants.
Then the second is the incubation stage which contains the formulation of business ideas, tenant business idea training, providing business development guidance and consultation, further mentoring, and business partner meetings.
The next stage is the post-incubation stage which consists of providing networking between tenants, providing opportunities for ownership participation in tenant companies, monitoring and evaluating tenant business developments for at least two years, providing facilities for access to sources of financing, and mobilizing incubator alumni to form a legal forum for business development.
In the implementation of the workshop, participants were given the task of creating a Business Model Canvaswhich focuses on the use of visualization-based applications in the accounting field with the theme sustainbility. p>
Then the assessment and review process is carried out by expert presenters in their fields. The preparation of the blueprint as the second activity will be carried out in mid-June before the blueprint is finally used as a reference in the implementation of Iku-Tech, including the Iku-Tech grant competition.
This program as a whole is projected to create a technopreneur ecosystem and provide a system foundation for graduates as independent entrepreneurs.[]
