Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA--The dean's staff of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences (FISH) Surabaya State University (UNESA) received a visit from the team from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang in the Dean's Room , 2nd floor. FISH Building, Ketintang Campus, Surabaya, on 24 October 2023.
From FISIP UB, present was Deputy Dean 1, Dr.rer.pol. M. Faishal Aminuddin, S.S., M.Si, together with the heads of study programs. The deputy dean of FISIP said, there were 4 things that could be an important part of this visit, namely human resource management, institutional transformation, study program characteristics and mindset changes.
"This meeting is part of our strategy with FISH UNESA to share related matters. institutional governance in carrying out transformation in each institution," he said.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FISH UNESA, Dr. Bambang Sigit Widodo, M.Pd., said that the meeting was an effort to strengthen synergy in building advanced and superior faculties. This meeting was then followed up with the signing of the MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) between the two parties.
"FISH must continue to collaborate with various parties, because currently we are in the preparation stage to transform and change from FISH to "Fisipol, and thank God it turns out this was also welcomed positively by other universities including friends from FISIP UB," said Bambang Sigit.
On the following day, FISH also received a visit from FISIP Riau University (UNRI) which was directly led by the Dean of FISIP UNRI Dr. Meyzi Heriyanto, M.Si. He brought a group consisting of representatives dean, senate secretary, head of study program and lecturers with the aim of sharing faculty HR management. Apart from that, it is also related to the implementation of MBKM and the determination of FISH UNESA to pass the Integrity Zone in the internal assessment of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture.
On that occasion, the Dean of FISIP Unri said that the faculty needed to make improvements so that it needed to carry out benchmarking with FISH UNESA to learn about MBKM and the Integrity Zone, in addition to cooperation in the fields of education, research and community service.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FISH UNESA, Dr. Bambang Sigit Widodo said that regarding integrity zones, it really needs to be supported and become a sectoral commitment. That is what FISH has demonstrated so that it can achieve integrity zones.
"This visit is an important part of strengthening institutional governance. This can strengthen cross-institutional synergy in achieving common goals. "The most important thing we have shown so far is related to services for students," he said. []
