Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Surabaya State University Footbal Club (UNESA FC) Academy takes part in the Indonesian U-League competition 12 on 24-25 August 2024, at the Arhanud Field in Sidoarjo.
According to the UNESA FC Academy Head Coach, Coach Dewa Aryananda, this inaugural event is a momentum to increase self-confidence and introduce the players to a real competitive atmosphere who train at the academy.
This activity brought together 32 teams from all over East Java to compete for the champion and runner up positions which would later advance to the national series.
UNESA FC Academy, which has its home-base at UNESA Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, is scheduled to take part in several tournaments.
According to Indra Himawan, UNESA FC Academy management staff, children who take part in this competition will experience firsthand the basic steps to a career as a soccer player.
Apart from that, added Indra "We are preparing players for the Children's League for age groups at UNESA in the context of the Unesa FC Academy anniversary which is planned to take place next October.
"We are also preparing them to take part in the International Competition in Bali in 2025," he said .[]
