"Surabaya as the venue for ICVEE 2023 proudly stands as the 2nd largest city in Indonesia, the beginning of sustainable urban development and digital innovation," he said.
Junaidi Budi Prihanto, S.KM., M.KM., Ph.D., Vice Chancellor for Research, Community Service, Innovation, Publications and University Ranking opened the event
"Let's foster a spirit of collaboration. Together we will create new innovations and push the boundaries of our collective knowledge in electrical engineering and power systems education," he said.
< p>Next, Prof. Gamantyo Hendrantoro, Chair of IEEE said, this conference is on the right track by sharing knowledge and research results in its field. That is the reason why IEEE is technically proud to be a sponsor of ICVEE 2023.He advised that, as a sponsor of this conference, IEEE is trying to help conference organizers to maintain the quality of papers at the highest level and within the scientific scope of IEEE.
< p>In the material session, Prof. Erica Smith from Australia discussed "Characteristics of a good vocational teacher". This is the result of his research in Australia. Qualifying and teaching at a higher level in VET (Vocational Education and Training) pedagogy enhances teaching approaches, confidence and ability to address diversity in contexts, learners and AQF (Australian Qualification Framework) levels of teaching.< p>"And what makes a significant difference in qualifications is an educational degree," he said.Prof. Mohamed Lazaar, Ph.D from Morocco on that occasion presented the Performance of Artificial Neural Network for Enhanced Security in the Internet of Things (IoT). In his material, it can be concluded, as the IoT landscape evolves, this research can provide a foundation for more robust and adaptive security solutions.
"And from that research, he also proposed considering scalability for large-scale IoT deployments and ensuring that the model can handle a large number of very important IoT ecosystem devices," he explained.
ICVEE 2023 was attended by researchers and lecturers from various countries and campuses. Apart from that, also present and giving a speech was the Chairman of the Communication Society Indonesia Chapter, namely Dr. Bambang Setia Nugroho. []
