He said that the faculty has prepared various supporting facilities, such as lecture rooms, study program coordinator rooms (Koorprodi), student independent work rooms, and laboratories.
p>"We have also prepared a teaching team consisting of two professors and three head doctors and lecturers, in accordance with the standards set by Lamdik," he explained.
He added that the vision of this study program is to become a center based PAUD science ethno-tech, which integrates local values with modern technology. "This is in line with FIP Unesa's vision to create education that is adaptive, inclusive, innovative and entrepreneurial," he explained.
The Dean of FIP acknowledged that the challenge in this opening was fulfilling human resource requirements, especially in terms of scientific publications in journals of international repute. For this reason, FIP continues to encourage its community to increase publications in international journals, and is involved in various international mobility activities.
“In our experience of establishing a doctoral program in Basic Education, we learned how to ensure that every lecturer meets the requirements, including having publications in Scopus journal. "This experience is important capital to prepare a more mature and structured PAUD PhD proposal," he said.
He added support from university leaders as well as collaboration with partners such as Jakarta State University (UNJ), Yogyakarta State University ( UNY), and Kasetsart University in Thailand, further strengthen FIP's readiness in opening the doctoral program.
“The PAUD doctoral program is designed with a curriculum based on case method and project em>, in accordance with government directions, to produce graduates who competent as an educator, researcher and consultant in the field of PAUD," he concluded.[*]
