Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—Students of the Communication Science Study Program (Ikom), Faculty of Social Sciences and Politics (Fisipol) UNESA held a work performance through wave 1 screening activities in the Srikandi Room I6 Fisipol, UNESA Campus 1 Ketintang on Tuesday, 21 May 2024.
Performance of creative works in the form of commercial advertisements and public service advertisements (ILM) This is the output of the Advertising Creativity course, which is one of the final assignment assessments for semester 4 students.
Communication Science Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Anam Miftakhul Huda, S.Kom., M.I.Kom., really hopes that this final assignment will be a starting point for Communication Science students to hone their skills in the field of advertising.
"Advertising is not just about advertising production. "But there are important stages starting from script creation, client persuasion, marketing management, to the editing process," he said when opening the activity.
In this project, students are required to collaborate with external clients/partners. This can stimulate the spirit of professionalism through the opportunity to work on real projects with partners.
Some of the Ikom students have succeeded in collaborating with leading brands with grade A backgrounds and even collaborating with government agencies, such as Surabaya City Environmental Service (DLH).
Students also talked about the creative process behind the projects they worked on, including challenges in the field and the advantages of their work.
"Via "In the final assignment given, students not only gain new experience, but also have the opportunity to build relationships with clients or partners over a long period of time," he said.
The students felt the benefits of this project directly. Aulia Fira, one of the students, said that this project provides direct experience in the field on how to produce good advertising products that remain targeted.
"Through this assignment, I can also heal a little, because the shooting location is located in "I was also really happy because the lecturers and friends felt entertained by our group's work," he said.
This Advertising Creativity course is taught by Puspita Sari Sukardani, S.T., M.Med.Kom. and Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A. They hope that this project will be a good opportunity and a good start for students to enter the world of business and industry.[]
