Unesa. AC ID. SURABAYA—Meldydan Ony Ilhamsyah, 110 graduates of UNESA S-1 Legal Sciences study program, Faculty of Law (FH) who successfully graduated with a GPA of 3.83 in 3.5 years. Apart from that, the man who is familiarly called Dydan is one of the first FH UNESA graduates.
Confessing that he got results commensurate with his initial struggle to enter college, he said that he had financial difficulties because his parents had retired since he graduated from high school.
This made him rack his brain to find a way to continue his education. Luckily, the man who is familiarly called Dydan admitted that he was very happy because he managed to get a scholarship from Bank Indonesia.
"I really thank God because it was quite difficult to get a scholarship and my older siblings also helped," he said.
Being registered as a scholarship recipient didn't stop Dydan from trying other luck to make ends meet. educational needs. The 22 year old man chose Master of Ceremony (MC) as his job.
Starting by accident, he explained how he first entered the world of public speaking. It started with the lecturer asking him to be the MC at study program and faculty events. From here it crossed Dydan's mind to focus on a career in the world of hosting.
"When I was given the opportunity to be an MC, I thought, is this the way to go? Finally I tried to persevere and it turned out that I was in love," he said.
Regarding the next plan, namely continuing his Masters studies, he already has it in his mind. This man, who is also active in the world of debate, admitted that he wanted to continue his studies with a master's degree in notary science.
"After graduating from Bachelor's degree, I want to go on to Master's degree, but maybe not immediately. Considering that the costs are quite large, so work first, save first, then register later," he explained.
Regarding lectures, he admitted that he didn't have too many difficulties. Not because he was disciplined in studying, but he always made time to do it.
For example, Dydan said that every day he aims to pay in installments, even if it's only one or two lines.
His healthy lifestyle, such as watching his diet, jogging and going to the gym, has made him used to making time to do something.
He explained that someone can definitely get what he wants if he takes the time to live it.
"If you have a dream, you have to make it come true. You don't need to be great to start, but you have to start to become great," he said.[]
