Unesa.ac.id.MAGETAN—In commemoration of Million Trees Day, the Mitigation and K3 Section of SMCC (Crisis Center Mitigation Subdirectorate) Surabaya State University (Unesa) held a tree planting movement at Unesa Campus 5 Magetan, Sunday, January 15 2025.
Activity with the theme "Let's Plant Trees So We Always Get Good Air "Clean and Fresh" was preceded by remarks Director of Unesa Campus 5 Magetan, Sarmini, and the Director of PPIS Unesa, Mutimmatul Faidah.
In his speech, Mutimmatul Faidah emphasized the importance of environmental preservation as a concrete form of the university's contribution high level in creating cleaner and healthier air for the future.

After the opening ceremony, it was followed by symbolic tree planting by the leadership of Unesa Campus 5 Magetan and PPIS Unesa together with the community and dozens of students. This activity is a form of togetherness between the academic community and the community in preserving the environment.
As part of a series of activities, socialization and outreach were also held. discussions that discuss various important issues, such as mental health, disaster mitigation, occupational safety and health (K3), as well as academic counseling guidance.
This discussion includes material delivered by Mutimmatul Faidah who discusses the importance of maintaining mental health in supporting student productivity; Wiryo Nuryono who delivered a presentation regarding disaster mitigation and efforts to prevent drug abuse.

The discussion session discussed various important issues, such as mental health, disaster mitigation, occupational safety and health (K3) , as well as academic counseling guidance.
Next, Retno Tri Hariastuti conveyed guidance and counseling strategies to support academic success; and Aghus Sifaq explained the importance of implementing K3 in everyday life.
Through movement planting trees and this educational discussion, Unesa shows its commitment to efforts to preserve the environment and increase the capacity of the community and students. This activity also provides momentum to educate the younger generation about the importance of playing an active role in maintaining environmental balance.
