Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—The Business Management Agency (BPU) of Surabaya State University (UNESA) held an online socialization of Edunesa Mall on Wednesday, 27 September 2023. Edunesa Mall is an expert services platform owned by UNESA for stakeholders, community, companies and organizations.
The Head of BPU, Mahendra Wardhana, S.H., M.Kn., said that this platform not only introduces expert services from leading lecturers, it also opens up opportunities for close collaboration between the academic world and general public.
UNESA lecturers or human resources, he continued, can connect with various stakeholders, professionals, companies and organizations that need skills or expertise via this platform.
"The Edunesa Mall platform is the result of collaboration between BPU and the Professional Education and Certification Institute (LPSP) to facilitate UNESA's lecturer and training expertise with stakeholders outside campus," he said.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Madlazim, M.Si., stated that this innovation was a big step in UNESA's journey as an innovative, adaptive and community-oriented PTNBH.
UNESA, he continued, is always committed to providing the best in the fields of education and research. As a PTN-BH, UNESA has many valuable assets, one of which is experts and lecturers who are experienced in various fields.
They are often involved and asked by the government and the community to become resource persons, trainers, consultants and even assessors. "Edunesa Mall is a form of revolutionary innovation that is more than just a platform, but a bridge connecting the academic world with the practical world," he said.
This platform, he continued, is a place where science meets practical problems that can answer difficult questions and solve complex challenges or problems that occur in society. "What do people need? They can find the right people through Edunesa Mall," he said.

In the material presentation session, Loggar Bhilawa, S.E., A.k., M.Sc., CA., explained that the steps to access Edunesa are, 1) via UNESA SSO, then click "general" (directly there access was found to get to Edunesa). 2) Click Edunesa, and the platform's interface or face page will immediately appear. 3) Click "Profile" in the top option and complete the profile from personal identity to certification held by the lecturer or teaching staff as an expert.
After completing the profile data, next, 4) click Seller, there you will find a column that must be filled in regarding the benchmark fee for one consultation, consultation schedule, and consultation system according to preferences. In addition, this socialization was attended by all levels of officials, lecturers and staff throughout UNESA. [*]
