The man who is the Head of the Air Transportation Human Resources Development Center (PPSDMPU), the Ministry of Transportation graduated from the doctoral program in vocational education at UNESA.
In the open examination, he presented his dissertation on "The Influence of Self-Efficacy, Adversity Quotient, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking on Decision Making and Academic Performance of Air Aviation Polytechnic Cadets in Indonesia."
"As an air flight cadet, having the ability to make decisions and academic performance is a requirement. And, these two variables cannot be separated from confidence in their own abilities, intelligence in dealing with problems, being critical and creative," he said.
These various abilities do not appear alone, but through a system of continuous education, training and habituation which is supported by learning methods, boarding school parenting and the vocational education curriculum system, especially in the world of aviation.
In other words, it is necessary to transform vocational education to produce cadets who have good academic performance and decision-making abilities. "I hope that this research can become a reference and consideration in encouraging the transformation of vocational education, especially in the world of air aviation," he hoped.
On that occasion, the man who is familiarly known as Pak Setiyo highlighted the condition of the ability to think critically, creatively, and the ability to face problems amidst the onslaught of the digital era, social media, and very indulgent communication technology, where information is pervasive. thoughts every second.
If the generation is not critical, it will be very easily influenced by biased information and hoaxes. "Imagine if we as decision makers, the basis we use is wrong information, of course the decisions taken have the potential to be wrong," he said.

In the exam It was revealed that the first son of Achmad Pudjiono (deceased) and Mrs. Wiwik Suci Wibawati (deceased) was tested by a board of examiners consisting of: Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd., as chairman, Dr. Ir. Achmad Imam Agung, M.Pd., as secretary, and Dr. Capt. Wisnu Handoko, M.Sc., as honorary examiner.
Next, Prof. Dr. Luthfiyah Nurlaela, M.Pd., as promoter one, Prof. Dr. Ekohariadi, M.Pd., as the second promoter, Prof. Dr. Ir. Syaad Patmanthara, M.Pd., external examiner, Dr. Theodorus Wiyanto Wibowo, M.Pd., member of examiners and Prof. Dr. Bambang Suprianto, M.T., as examiner member.
This exam was also attended and witnessed by the Head of the Center for Maritime Transportation Human Resources Development, Head of the Center for Human Resources Development for Transportation Apparatus, Directors and Heads of the BPSDM Transportation Center, and the PPSDMPU extended family.
Also present were the Acting Head of the Center for Land Transportation Human Resources Development, Director of the Surabaya Poltekbang, Director of the Surabaya Polytechnic, Director of the Indonesian Pilot Academy. And what was most special was being witnessed by his beloved family, namely his wife and son, as well as his younger siblings and their families.
For achieving this doctoral degree, Achmad Setiyo Prabowo expressed his infinite gratitude to his beloved family, colleagues and colleagues in his career for their support so far. Apart from that, thanks were also expressed to the UNESA leadership, Postgraduate leaders, lecturers, promoters and examiners.
