Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA–A series of salawat and dhikr resounded in the area of Surabaya State University (UNESA) Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, Surabaya on Thursday, August 29 2024. Salawat was recited by the leadership and thousands of community members led by Habib Idrus Al-Aidid, Gus Hafidzul Ahkam together Ahbabul Musthofa Surabaya.
UNESA Celebration Agenda, organized by UNESA through the Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni together with the Ministry of Religion, BEM UNESA, in the framework of the 60th Anniversary of the 'Home of Champions' campus with the aim of strengthening the spiritual values of the community, and increase love for Allah SWT and nabiyullah Muhammad SAW.

Director Mawal UNESA said that strengthening spiritual aspects is important to increase faith and piety. Indirectly it also guides success in work and study.
Director of Student Affairs and UNESA Alumni (Mawal), Muhamad Sholeh, expressed his appreciation to all parties who contributed to this event.
"This holidaying activity is not only a ritual, but also a reflection of UNESA's motto 'Growing with Character,' which is reflected in our efforts to build an academic community with noble morals," he said.
Sutrisno, Chair of BEM UNESA, said that momentum was important to strengthen students' character and religious attitudes. According to him, there are a number of aspects that determine student success, apart from skillset, there are also aspects of emotional and spiritual intelligence that cannot be separated.

Gus Akham , in his tausiyah, also gave special prayers for UNESA and its students. "Hopefully with the blessings of the prayers we read, UNESA and its students will progress further, become more blessed, and will always receive intercession from the Prophet Muhammad," he said.[]
