PAUD teachers from various regions of East Java visited PGPAUD UNESA
Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—A number of PAUD and Kindergarten teachers from Banyuwangi, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, and Lamongan visited the Education Study Program Early Childhood Education Teacher (PG-PAUD) Faculty of Education (FIP) Surabaya State University (UNESA) on Tuesday, 28 May 2024, at Auditorium O6, 4th floor, Unesa Campus 2, Lidah Wetan.
In In his speech, the Coordinator of the PG-PAUD Undergraduate Study Program, Kartika Rinakit Adhe, S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed his hope to continue to collaborate with all partners present. This activity is part of a series of community service or PKM carried out by PGPAUD UNESA in Banyuwangi.
"This visit is a positive step to strengthen relations between UNESA and educators in Banyuwangi, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik and Lamongan . "We hope that through this activity, we can share knowledge and best practices in educating early childhood," he said.
PGPAUD Undergraduate Study Program Coordinator, Kartika Rinakit Adhe, S. Pd., M.Pd., warmly welcomed the PAUD teachers who also shared education with UNESA lecturers.
Head of Section PMTK Banyuwangi Regency, Putut Purnawirawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., also expressed his appreciation for UNESA for providing opportunities for teachers to learn and share experiences. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions to improve the quality of early childhood education in their area.
FIP UNESA PG-PAUD lecturer, Muhammad Reza, S.Psi., M.Sc., highlighted the level of violence and harassment that occurs occurs in children, especially minors. With technological developments and cultural changes, parents should look for more differentiated educational methods.
"Children have different characteristics and intelligence, so as teachers and parents we must be able to read the nature and characteristics of our children. From there, differentiation will emerge," he said.
The excitement of the PAUD teachers during the sharing session about the challenges of early childhood education in the digital age.
In session sharing, Putut Purnawirawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., explained material on increasing the competency of PAUD teachers through innovative training to develop holistic and meaningful learning.

We have learned many new things that we can apply at our school in Banyuwangi. "Hopefully this collaboration can continue and provide benefits for our children's education," he said.
Apart from visiting PGPAUD UNESA, teachers were given the opportunity to visit Labschool UNESA. After the sharing session ended, they were invited as groups to take part in classes with various themes in the context of early childhood education.
Apart from academic activities, this visit was also filled with friendly events and souvenir exchanges between Banyuwangi representatives and FIP UNESA . The event closed with a group photo and a promise to continue cooperation in the future.[]
