Note Rec! GAYATAMA 2024 Presents a Variety of International Competitions, Strengthening Student Creativity and Innovation

Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The Subdirectorate of Interest, Talent, Competency and Reasoning at Surabaya State University (UNESA) held a Student Work and Achievement Degree or commonly called GAYATAMA. This competition has 29 competition categories which will be held from September to November 2024.

Unesa's Director of Student and Alumni Affairs, Muhamad Sholeh, said that the competition, which was held for the first time in 2020, was an annual competition. Different from previous years, in this fourth year, GAYATAMA provides the opportunity for Indonesian and international students to take part in this annual event.

Not alone, the implementation of this competition received support from all faculties on the 'Rumah' campus Champions'. With various types of competitions in different fields, it is hoped that faculty participation can contribute to improving the quality of competitions in each category.

This Gresik-born lecturer said, GAYATAMA aims to foster creativity, innovation and sportsmanship by giving participants the opportunity to achievers in the fields of academics, arts and sports.

"With its international debut, this competition will become a center for young innovators and achievers to meet to be able to collaborate, create and inspire," he concluded. For information, here are the registration dates for each competition:
