Anti-bullying educational activities for children in Kampung Pelangi
Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The increasingly disturbing cases of bullying among children have prompted the Surabaya State University (UNESA) PKM-PM team to intervene. They provide education to children on the coast of Surabaya, specifically Kampung Pelangi.
This anti-bullying education is entitled "WANDERSEA", the PKM team consisting of a number of students accompanied by lecturers provides education in a different way, namely using a psychological approach which is packaged in a fun and easy to understand way.

Unlike educational programs in schools, this team chose to focus on children in Kampung Pelangi with creative learning methods. They wrap anti-bullying messages in arts and culture that are familiar to children, such as fairy tales, songs and traditional games.
"We want to ensure that every child, wherever they are, has the right to gain knowledge about bullying and ways to overcome it," said Elsa Nabila, head of the UNESA PKM-PM team.
"Through art and culture, we want children in Kampung Pelangi to learn about bullying in a way that is fun and easy to understand, and can apply it in everyday life," he added.
The "WANDERSEA" program is divided into several activities. First, Wander Self: A story-based and motivational activity that aims to enable children to recognize themselves and have dreams. Second, Wander Honesty: Activities to recognize emotions and express feelings through writing.
Third, Wander Heroes: Activities that increase social-awareness, courage, and targeted leadership through role play to become heroes of the archipelago. Fourth, Wander Indonesian Games: Activities to improve target relationship skills through traditional games.
Fifth, Wander Parenting Day: Special program for parents to increase understanding of good parenting and build a supportive family environment. Sixth, Wonderful Day of Wandersea: An anti-bullying declaration which was enlivened by wall painting activities, wonderland games, and children's talent performances.
The "WANDERSEA" program was welcomed with great enthusiasm by children and residents Rainbow Village. They looked cheerful and enthusiastic about participating in the activities, and many admitted that they were inspired by the messages conveyed.
"This program is very useful for the children here. The creative and fun delivery makes it easier for children understand material about bullying and ways to deal with it," said Pandan, a resident of Kampung Pelangi.
The UNESA PKM-PM Team hopes that this program can make a real contribution to fighting bullying in society, especially in Kampung Pelangi. With the right education and creative methods, they believe that the younger generation can grow into individuals who respect each other and are free from bullying.
The UNESA PKM-PM Wandersea Team is a group of Surabaya State University students who are dedicated to providing service to society. This team consists of Elsa Nabila, Rifda Haura Fatina Besri, and Muhammad Aldy Irawan from the Undergraduate Psychology Study Program, as well as Nurasih Basri and Tria Putri Ayu Arisona from the Undergraduate Guidance and Counseling Study Program.
They were accompanied by their accompanying lecturer, Qurrota A 'yuni Fitriana, M.Psi., Psychologist. This team is committed to providing creative and innovative solutions to the problem of bullying in Kampung Pelangi Surabaya.[]
