Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—The Teacher Professional Education Agency (BPPG), Surabaya State University (UNESA) again held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) for Preparation for PPG Learning for Certain Teachers Phase 3 of 2024 at the Grand Hotel Swiss-Belinn Darmo Surabaya on Friday-Saturday, 27-28 September 2024.
This event was attended by university leaders and BPPG campus 'Home of Champions.' The Head of BPPG, Fatkur Rohman Kafrawi, said that UNESA had been implementing PPG with the trend of participation and graduation rates continuing to increase.
UNESA was then again trusted by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Ditjen GTK) of the Ministry of Education and Culture to organize PPG stage 3 for the in-service scheme with a quota of 13,620 for certain teachers.
Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Budi Jatmiko said that certain teachers who take part in and pass this program will receive a teacher certification allowance. The UNESA professor also conveyed the similarities in perception regarding the assessment of learning video assignments and lesson plans that would be uploaded by PPG students.
The 2024 PPG Phase 3 activities were officially opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs, Madlazim. The professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) said that in order to complete national teacher certification and improve the welfare of teachers and lecturers, UNESA must be quick to adapt in responding to future challenges.
He conveyed UNESA's commitment to continue to improve the quality and strengthen PPG which is synchronized with the aim of increasing KPI 1, namely that graduates get decent jobs. This program is also intended to increase the activeness and creativity of regular teaching lecturers and PPG will also immediately adapt to Golden Indonesia 2045.
"Hopefully PPG phase 3 can maintain the various achievements achieved so far. Hopefully there will be more participation and the resulting innovation will be better and more impactful for teachers and students at school. "The hope is that UNESA PPG graduates will become teachers who are competent, adaptive, innovative and have an impact on society," he hoped.[]
